Description:Stories can be set anywhere, from made-up universes to your very own home. Create the world of your story, and learn creative ways to work with setting. This workshop will ask you questions about setting in real life and fantasy, provide writing exercises for writing stories in quirky worlds, and help you come up with ideas for world in your next story.

Crear un mundo: escenario de cine, televisión, obras de teatro y libros
Las historias se pueden configurar en cualquier lugar, desde universos inventados hasta su propia casa. Crea el mundo de tu historia y aprende formas creativas de trabajar con el entorno. Este taller le hará preguntas sobre cómo ambientarse en la vida real y la fantasía, proporcionará ejercicios de escritura para escribir historias en mundos extravagantes y lo ayudará a encontrar ideas para el mundo en su próxima historia.
Teacher Bio:Yásaman Madadi (she/they) is a playwright, television writer, and journalist who recently graduated from Cal State LA's MFA program in Dramatic Writing. Her work has been published in The Los Angeles Times & The Nation Magazine, among other publications. She recently showcased her pilot The Absolved at the Wayward Artist Theater in Santa Ana and her short play, Mitra's Suitcase is slated to premiere in Los Ángeles at Teatro Frida Kahlo in February.
