Description:What are the words that make you think of home? What are the names of people and places from your history? In this workshop, students will share and explore language unique to their communities.

Please take note of the age range listed. Enrollment opens one month before the workshop, and has a 20 student max. A waitlist will be started once sign-ups are full.
Teacher:Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo
Teacher Bio:Xochitl is the author of Posada: Offerings of Witness and Refuge, a Steinbeck fellow and Poets & Writers California Writers Exchange winner. She is published in Acentos Review, CALYX, crazyhorse, and The James Franco Review and is a cofounder of Women Who Submit.
