Workshop:Mar Vista: And the Oscar Goes to... (Part 1 of 3)

Description:Do you have the PERFECT idea for Hollywood's next blockbuster? This workshop will teach you everything you need to start writing and transform your idea into a real screenplay. Over the course of 3 weeks, each student will write his or her own short script and take home a printed and bound screenplay, ready-to-shoot. Before we know it, we might be seeing your writing on the big screen!

Please note that this is a three part workshop. Students must be able to attend all sessions: September 30, October 7, and October 14.
Teacher:Grant Singer
Teacher Bio:A former 826 student, Grant Singer returns to lead his second workshop on his favorite subject: movies! A recent graduate of USC’s film school, Grant is an aspiring writer/director who is excited to share his love of writing for screen with the next generation of storytellers.
